Mount Carmel Catholic College, Varroville is a year 7 to 12 Catholic, coeducational, comprehensive college serving the parishes of Campbelltown, Eagle Vale, Ingleburn, Macquarie Fields, Ruse and Varroville, suburbs of the Macarthur region. The college has a student population of 1050 students and 90 members of staff. Mount Carmel Catholic College is systemic and a part of the Wollongong Diocese.

Since its inception the College has developed a reputation for improving excellence, particularly in the areas of academic achievements, sporting activities and pastoral care structures. The College aims to provide meaningful experiences that assist students in their development into active, strong community members with Marist values to guide them as they live with faith and integrity.

The spirit of the College is summarised in the mission statement:

Mount Carmel Catholic College, guided by prayer and through spiritual formation, aspires to be a Catholic community reflecting gospel values. The students receive a holistic Catholic education in the Marist tradition, with the aim of attaining moral, academic and personal excellence.

At the same time our focus is future oriented as the college builds on its teaching and learning environment with technology as its base. Our College is a learning community where we share our learning together to develop as life long learners.
